Getting
Your Priorities Right by Kevalin Absoluto |
Have
you ever caught yourself worrying about things that are not
to the point of the main personal challenge you are facing? Do you sometimes find yourself spending
a lot of mental energy considering what someone is going to do or fail to do toward
you? Are you in command
of your world and your life or do you find your world and your life
making you dance to their tune while bending you out of shape and encouraging
you to neglect important areas of self-change and self-discovery? Having
troubles getting your priorities right? Is there fragmentation and self-contradiction
in your “free will”? Life
is chronically subject to recurring episodes. Some
of these are peaks of great pleasure or entertainment, but others bring
pain, suffering, crisis, fear, anguish or personal loss. The wheel of destiny is always turning. All episodes have beginnings and endings. Between episodes are the lulls, the interludes,
where we are subject to a kind of empty boredom or a restless excitement,
an eagerness to be active. During
these lulls we can merely keep busy somehow or we may find ourselves
brooding in confusion about ourselves and what is really possible for
us. Our priorities are
not always clear, so we sweep a lot of deep issues under the rug and
just carry on by doing some chore, reading a book or chattering to
one another without real depth of understanding or higher awareness. Can
you deeply question the whole process of your bodily life in your physical
world? Are you able to find the place in yourself
where you are truly real and know what to do? Do
you see the beauty of a deep sense of something joyous hidden within
your own selfhood? Are
you able to meditate on it and catch hold of it for yourself directly
of your own experience of your inner being? Are
you able to give the highest priority to this meditation of self-revelation,
self-awakening? Can you
learn to rise more often beyond your episodal consciousness,
beyond all those outer endings and beginnings that usually keep you
too occupied in anxious imaginings and useless considerings of
others? Can you stop wasting
your life in secondary priorities? All
of these things are being brought up to you here so you will ask yourself
what kind of thinking increases your spiritual awakening and self-realization
as opposed to what kind of supposed “thinking” just keeps
you in self-enclosed spiritual stupor. You
can learn to see better where your mental trends are leading you. When
you read an article such as this one, the way you hear and think about
it is just part of an unseen higher process at work in your Spirit. You do not yet comprehend this higher
process because your present cognitive system is not configured for
it. For now you will just have to take it
on faith that a higher power is at work within your inner Spirit beyond
your usual spiritual judgments and contradictions. Your
priorities are being sorted-out to some extent from beyond you in higher
dimensions of yourself where you are not often aware of yourself if
at all. Your job in all this is to not seal
off your mind against taking in greater truth and wider perspectives
than you presently possess. You
must not remain dogmatically fixed in your present views of spirituality,
of who’s who and what’s what. Many
of your confusions about your priorities and your failures in self-transformation
are direct results of your self-enclosed beliefs, disbeliefs and assumptions. Most of your ideas on what is or is not
possible for you or others are actually quite wrong. You need paradigm shifts in many important
areas. You need to deconstruct
and reconstruct your entire worldview. You
do not know what is really going on within yourself, your life and
the world out there. Some
of your personal habits and routines are hurting you and creating a
difficult future. All of this needs a greater inner awakening
and more robust personal initiative. Most
of your problems with your personal priorities are connected with unseen
mysteries of your will, which is connected with the
ways of intent in your Spirit beyond your usual understanding of all
this. Getting directly
clear about all this in yourself is your central existential project
that requires more than you have given it so far. . |
