Juan Matus told Carlos Castaneda that he should make every act
count because he would be in the world for only a short while, a time too
short for experiencing all that one could potentially
experience through a living body with the First Attention. Juan Matus would say that a Warrior-Seeker
of the Path of Knowledge of higher, subtler states of attention should at
all times ask advice of his death.
Are you asking
advice of your death? Are you making
every act count? Or
do you drift
in a self-enclosed cloud or shell of blind self-importance?
When
you are trapped within the blindness of self-importance, you
cannot see Life or Death as they really are. In
such a state, you feel under attack from any direction at any
time because you are clinging hard to what you believe are your
possessions, which can include even other people. With
your assemblage point stuck in the normal position of the First
Attention you lack the flexibility and inner strength, the personal
integrity or impeccability, to make the optimum magical use of
situations and relationships. You wind up boring yourself and others
to death with all your routines you are reinforcing for your
security, which your death is going to destroy in the end anyway.
The
average man is constantly destroying his magical potential by
clinging to a stupid self-confidence from his profession or the
predictable acquisition of his pleasures or entertainments. A
genuine Warrior-Seeker derives his confidence from his ability to
enter into Heightened Awareness, move his Assemblage Point and
explore the Unknown. The
average man is constantly acting out his most useless and foolish
thoughts that accidentally occur in his mind, but because his
thoughts, words and behavior are all virtually accidental, he
neither can nor will take responsibility for what he thinks,
says or does. If
we try to rely on average people, we have to discover that they
are empty, unreal, like the “ghosts” Genaro would
meet on his Journey to Ixtlan. The
Warrior-Seeker is increasingly responsible for what he thinks,
says and does in the light of his inevitable death. He
knows that to not make every act count is the most horrible and tragic loss
of real life, for he knows that a real life is a life of utmost magical
intensity unfolding within true infinity as a Skywalk right on
the Earth as with the Gait of Power on the Path of the Void,
the Unknown, thanks to the Boost of the Earth.
Do you understand
that your social self-importance is your number one blockage
against entering into the wonderful intensity of a truly magical
life? Can you see how your self-enclosed normalcy
is wasting your life in dead-end futilities of the First Attention
within a fixated, rigid and false “reality” of meaningless
social consensus? Try to see why Nagual Shamans will talk
to insects, tiny little flowers or pebbles on the ground.
Picture
the ordinary Big Self-important Ego-reader of this article. Such a Tonal or Social Ego thinks it has
great spiritual knowledge and that it is on the way to getting
amazing personal power. That
foolish human being is you! Your only hope is to see this and enter
into the magical intensity of the Unknown realms beyond your
self-important and stupid normalcy, which includes your social
projects for trying to be more popular with other self-important,
stupid normals.
Carlos
Castaneda has passed on (as Juan Matus predicted) after writing
many fascinating books on the Nagual Seers, which books made
his Tonal or social self a famous and much-sought-after person. After
that, much gossip and glamour surrounded Carol Tiggs, Florinda Donner and Taisha Abelar in terms of their Tonals or social selves. Occult
social-seeking is always within the ways of self-importance. Unable to enter into the sustained Unknown,
the occult seekers want to become more important about occult
seeking. The great She-Spider of the Web wraps
her lines of social concern around the occult seeker and ties
him or her up in a cocoon for slow eating. Such
occult-seekers never get out because they have been paralyzed
with Her poison of social self-importance.
Try
to grasp that Carlos Castaneda was writing about people and situations
that are not aligned with the way you go about being interested
or fascinated with such beings and their situations. Your
interests and fascinations lack impeccability and personal power. You are too neurotic and filled with spiritual
imaginings about yourself. You
are just not getting it!
Try
to understand that your usual opinions, hopes and choices in all this have nothing
to do with what all this is really about. You are just spinning like a roulette wheel into different items
of your fixated normal position of your consciousness, your bubble
of perception, your Assemblage Point. You are
truly wasting your life day-in and day-out. The
things you read about occult marvels and spiritual
wonders are not helping you. Your studies do not help you because they are undertaken within the
ridiculous convenience of your normalcy, which is killing your
magical potential.
You
are not making your actions count for anything real in the magical
world of the Nagual Seers. What,
therefore, are you really going to do about all this? Maybe
you better wake up to something before it is too late. Of course it is all up to Power.
