Think of what it might mean for
you as a reader to be totally convinced that you need a whole
new perspective on this note before
going on to a fully focused encounter with the next note.
Is there a place in your being that allows
you to experience yourself as simultaneously present on more
than one planet at the same time? If there is, wake it
up and do that before you read the next note.
Is there a place in your being that allows
you to experience yourself as simultaneously present in more
than one time on your present planet? If there is, wake
it up and do that before you read the next note.
This note is
written for a special reader in the future long after I am
gone who will wish I was still around and writing notes.
Before that special reader reads the next note,
he should realize that he himself will be long gone before
the much, much further future beyond the future when yet another
special reader ponders this double
past.
Picture a planet with a yellow sky somewhere
out in unknown space. The planet has vast grassy and
scrubby prairies or semi-deserts with craggy, rocky hills and
occasional mountains. One can walk for many kilometres
without meeting an inhabitant or entering a village. Visualize
this so powerfully that you feel you can almost reach down
and pick up a stone and bring it into your present environment. If
you will do this until it begins to feel almost more real than
a mere mental exercise or note reading,
you will discover something important before the next note.
Picture yourself in ancient China. You
bang at the door/gateway and ring the entry bell. A monk opens
up and asks what you want. You say you want to pay a
visit to the enlightened Zen Master Abbot of the place. The
monk says the Master is working in the gardens up on the mountainside
behind the monastery. Picture yourself walking up there
and actually meeting the Master, who says: “Do not ask
me any questions. Just picture a world with yellow sky and
see what it means.”
Picture ten readers of this note,
reading it together on a telescreen on a wall above where they
are sitting in chairs arrayed in a semi-circle. They
are inhabitants of a highly advanced planet near the centre
of a galaxy closer to the core of our twelvefold timespace
universe. They are tall, slender and enduringly delicate
physically. Like us, they have two legs, two arms, hands
with five fingers on each, heads with two largish eyes, rather
long and slender noses and wide mouths with thin lips. They
are looking at one another with a slight bewilderment. They
realize that this note is about them and not some
other group of readers elsewhere. They are wondering
how and why they have been selected
to be a note, which is obviously
something more than merely reading a
note or trying to picture something. They do not have
to picture themselves and their immediate
situation. As a result of this, they are now in an existential
dilemma. A fusion has taken
place for them between being-here and being-there. What
would it mean for you if their position
and yours were reversed? They too
must look into this with you before the next note.
Now picture that you are a huge sphere
of sheer clarity and brilliant awareness floating high above
your body and situation where you are physically reading or
hearing this note.
