Are you honestly ready now to stop blanking out and start learning?  If so, go on to the next note.

Now decide that to stop blanking out is something like Zen and to start learning is something like Sufism.  In the T’ien Tai school of Ancient China, these were called Chih (stopping) and K’uan (insight).  Way back then they did not think of these as what we now call Zen-Sufi philosophy, which Frank Herbert prophesized in his Dune sci-fi books would be the galactic traveling esoteric school of Zen-Sunni philosophy from Earth. What Frank Herbert also could not possibly know ahead of time is that it all begins right here in Notes!   Isn’t this amazing!?
