If you are sick and tired of being a spiritual phony who is not really psychic or cosmically conscious, then watch what happens when you suddenly become absolutely honest with yourself and others.  After your fleeting moment of absolute honesty, you can go on to the next note in slightly better shape inside.

One of the reasons you do not become a better human being is that you refuse to think of the details of what “better” could actually mean if you were truly and systematically serious about it.  Since you will probably just carry on daydreaming with wishful, vague hopes about yourself, you might as well go forward stupidly into the next note without a clue about your real possibilities or your probably painful future.  Just don’t say I didn’t warn you enough or failed to explain it in a way you could understand.  You know how much useless daydreaming and busy work you get into precisely to avoid the truth of yourself.

O.K.  Now this note is not going to be easy for you, so go slowly into the hidden implications until you can handle them. There is no need at all for you to give yourself a nervous breakdown over all the things you do not want to face about your life.
