The time has come for me to confess the true identity of the Causal Soul of the Third Attention I have been calling “the Nagual Maria”.  She is actually Maria Elena or “La Gorda”, a previous Nagual Lineage companion of Carlos Castaneda.

 

Maria had a confrontation with Carlos in his home in Los Angeles.  She had made up her mind to (A) save him from his cult-making activities and lead him and the three witches back to Mexico and the Three Little Sisters and Three Genaros (female and male Nagual Party branches of Castaneda's “three prongs of Nagualhood”) to save the private and anonymous New Nagual Lineage in Mexico or (B) If Carlos refused, to “Burn With The Fire From Within” and thus “fly to Freedom in the Spirit” (in the Third Attention, as it were).  In the end, Carlos was obstinate to continue his cult-building and discard the intended New Lineage.  So, she “Burned With The Fire From Within” and took flight in the Third Attention to the Nagual Place of Freedom (beside the Eagle, the collective Karmic Sphere, Kaal or Brahmaa, the Samashti Chitta, Causal Sphere of the Earth System, as it were.)  Superficial evaluations of her “death” are just the expected silly rubbish to cover up the truth of La Gorda's exit-to-freedom as she had been trained to do.

 

Was it “freedom” she actually went to?  Is constant “seeing of Eternity” Freedom?  No!  This is a fundamental dead end promoted to Naguals for generations.  The position they arrive at in the Causal Realm is what the Theosophists call “Devachan” and what the Tibetan Siddhas call the Bardo of the transfixed Happy Gods or ultimate achievement of a reincarnating causal ego.  It cannot last forever, but sooner or later disintegrates into inevitable and necessary reincarnation, which, as I have already reported, I tried to convince Maria to do on the causal plane due to my great affection for her and Naguals in general.  But, as I have also recorded, she informed me of her “decision” to remain at rest in that False Freedom as long as possible.

 

So where is the Nagual Juan Matus?  He is also stuck there in that Causal cul-de-sac.  But whenever I try to help him get out, he becomes temporarily very angry about my claim that he was mislead.  Since it becomes such a hellish disturbance for him, I tend to leave him alone and let Nature take Her course.  Sometimes in the Subtle World of Energy, he and his companions will show-off to me what they can do to impress me!  At other times they try to be helpful to my affairs when I am dealing with some seekers about matters of Nagual Seership.  In the end, however, they always revert to their causal dead-end of pseudo-freedom.  They cannot comprehend the Godself Position of the Fourth Attention.  They think it is a terrible trick to injure their stubborn “freedom”!  Again, I can't help them, though I would like to.
   

 My position in all this remains:

(A)	Some aspects of the Nagual Path are incredibly useful to My students of Shaiva Siddhanta, but drastically diverge on the causal level of the Third Attention.
(B)	The Nagual Goal of “freedom” as they define it is a causal trap that makes their path ultimately dangerous or useless if taken all the way.

 

Castaneda freaks, adherents or believers are generally occult egomaniacs who want to be socially important and attract gullible followers.  So, they do not like my teachings about all this nor my ideas about the Death Defier.  So they endlessly deny and disparage (just like Tibetan adherents or Sufi adherents, not to mention your average Hindu Guru or New Age Leader — all of whom are prisoners of their social ego or hyper-exaggerated tonal).  So, there is much to learn by observation in all this.  For one thing, my Carlos Web-Site still gets too many visitors seeking occult titillation.  They hope I will lead them to the Death Defier!  They are fools!  They overestimate their potential and lack the right aim or orientation in all this.
