In October, 1982, two pilgrims were sent to Muktinath in Nepal to gain darshan of the immortal Matsyendranath. They waited there for 5 days and then on the 10th October they met Karbari Mayapuri and spent 3 days with him there. They met up with him again in late September 1983 in Kathmandu, Nepal and travelled with him to Varanasi (Benares) visiting holy sites in the city with him.
