Do not read the next note if you
believe there is a limit to your
possible consciousness.
According to Gurdjieff you are conscious only
when you know all at once everything you know and everything
you have ever experienced. Are you at this time conscious in
accord with that definition? Settle what it means for you to
be “conscious” before you read the next note.
If it is not the most important thing for
you to be here reading and pondering this note
right now, you should not be here at all. If it is “the
most important thing” for you to be reading this note
right now, are you really handling it that way?
This note is
going beyond how your mind works
to how your whole being works.
Do you understand this with your whole being or
just your mind?
Since you can potentially experience
being everywhere or everywhen, spanning all spaces and times,
what seems to prevent you from activating and exercising your
freedom? Ask yourself this before the next note.
The hidden mysteries of being a conscious being are deep,
dark and vast. If you are capable of being suddenly totally
struck by all that, go on to the next note.
No one has a potential if they cannot personally connect
with it in themselves and bring it out. Take, for instance,
the idea of reading, hearing and pondering this note
with unlimited non-dual awareness with no division between
you and what you are reading here.
If you are not the same as God when
you are reading this note, how will
you ever comprehend That which is
beyond God?
The horrible shit going on throughout humanity of the planet
Earth cannot compare to how temporary and ultimately insignificant
it all is. If you can wake-up to this fact, go on to the next
note.
If there is a place in your being that is never upset,
frustrated or disappointed, are you prepared to immediately
light it up and benefit from it before you read the next note?
If you want to know the secret of immediate Zen enlightenment,
read the next note.
That you want to know a
secret does not mean you have an active will to
realize a
secret. If you can see this difference, the next note
might bring you into some sort of awakening or enlightenment. Will
you fully try for it right now?
What kind of “trying” do you
call this?
