According to the traditional metaphysicians of ancient Kashmir Shaiva philosophy, our causal body and its surrounding causal universe are made of five causal elements:  Space, Time, Energy, Information and Matter.  These are roughly translated from the Sanskrit terms, Niyati, Kālā, Raga, Vidya, and Kala. They are said to veil or cover-up the Spaceless, Timeless, Energyless, Non-informational and Immaterial Spirit, Atman. Hence, the MESTI is the fivefold Kanchuka, covering.  Now, according to the ancient Greeks, Truth is called Alytheia, the Uncovered, Discovered.  So real Truth is Spirit beyond Matter, Energy, Space, Time and Information.  If you agree with this conclusion, go on to the next Note.

MESTI is also what both Shaiva and Vedanta call Maya, which means “that which can be measured and assessed by intellect”. Scientific philosophers measure MESTI, so they are caught in Maya, which covers Alytheia, Truth.

Their consciousness is thus said to be clogged with Mayiyamala, spiritual dirt of dualistic illusion.  Scientific Philosophers try to arrive at truth through intellectual analysis, but their latest “truth” is always just a theory that cannot last. There is always a greater “truth”, a better model of the universe. But real Truth is found in the realm of supracausal Spirit.  It is direct discovery in the Self beyond the causal intellect.  That is what You need to do now.

Spirit Power of Infinite and Eternal Omniscience beyond Matter, Energy, Space, Time and Information is your immediate transcendental aim at all times in all situations, but you keep forgetting to do this because you are distracted by secondary things, though in all fairness we can say it is natural to be distracted by secondary things whenever your attempt to enter into the primary fails.
