Power Lessons
Power Lesson Ten

According to Nagual Juan Matus:

“A warrior knows that he is only a man.  His only regret is that his life is so short that he can’t grab onto all the things that he would like to.  But for him, this is not an issue; it’s only a pity.”

The Lesson:

If you are not going to be an apprentice to a Nagual, and if you are not going to live forever, you are in deep shit about Power in your mediocre life, which life is saturated with the modern habits of people who imagine they are going to live forever.  Your relatives, associates and neighbors are never going to be Naguals, Men and Women of Knowledge, but you give yourself over to their heedless nonsense and chatter as if it could all amount to something.

The Power missing in your unmagical life remains absent in your feeling, thinking and activity because you lack a quality of initiative about It.  She, Power, takes little interest in your higher possibilities because you are dominated from head to toes by your lower possibilities.  The warrior-traveler is not against lower possibilities like an ascetic renunciate, but such a being knows what’s what and has no stupid illusions typical of modern man.  Hence, the warrior-traveler is an anachronism, a misfit in contemporary society.  He learns to handle this or he perishes like a dog.

You will learn from Power to be an unknown warrior-traveler of Power or you will just rot to death like all the rest of the spiritual pretenders who are wasting their life on the Web and elsewhere in efforts to impress and seduce other self-rotting idiots.

Remember: whatever the mediocre do to come to Power will keep you weak and waste your life.  To be quietly different for real and in the right way without believing in the stupid “Future of Humanity” is alone a Life of Power.  Power is oneness with the Universe, not oneness with mediocrity.
