Power Lesson Three

According to Nagual Juan Matus:

“A man goes to knowledge as he goes to war: wide-awake, with fear, with respect, and with absolute assurance.  Going to knowledge or going to war in any other manner is a mistake, and whoever makes it might never live to regret it.

“When a man has fulfilled all four of these requisites — to be wide awake, to have fear, respect, and absolute assurance — there are no mistakes for which he will have to account: under such conditions his actions lose the blundering quality of the acts of a fool.  If such a man fails, or suffers a defeat, he will have lost only a battle, and there will be no pitiful regrets over that.”

The Lesson:

The path that leads to the Knowledge that is Power has been arranged by Power for some individuals chosen by Power to learn the tempering of their Spirit Self as in the Mood of a Warrior.  Only the Warrior Spirit can sustain such a mood.  If we only read about it as inwardly weak spiritual socializers, we will fail to work properly with the challenges in life that would potentially strengthen the Warrior Spirit in our being.

Situations that create a degree of fear and anxiety in us are sometimes maneuvers of Power towards us because She wants to enter into our Spirit Self as a new Personal Power we didn’t have before.

Personal Power is more like an Inner Strength that is not visible to spiritually weak and worried normal neurotic and foolish people you encounter in life.  It is something far more important than an occult power you could show off to impress idiots or horny members of the opposite sex.  Personal Power is often connected to unusual experiences and abilities, but it is nonetheless something else.
