According to Nagual Juan Matus:

“Anything is one of a million paths.  Therefore, a warrior must always keep in mind that a path is only a path: if he feels that he should not follow it, he must not stay with it under any condition.  His decision to keep on that path or to leave it must be free of fear or ambition.  He must look at every path closely and deliberately.  There is a question that a warrior has to ask, mandatorily:  Does this path have a heart?

“All paths are the same: they lead nowhere.  However, a path without a heart is never enjoyable.  On the other hand, a path with heart is easy — it does not make a warrior work at liking it: it makes for a joyful journey: as long as a man follows it, he is one with it.”

The Lesson:

The heart is the center in man of the human soul, the causal body.  That is where there is a connection with the Infinite, the Eternal Spirit.  Otherwise there is just a social unit, an occult ambition, a social self-importance that wants to be a well-known and popular miracle worker or a persuasive spiritual influencer who gets lots of money and sex.

A path without heart is the path of an imitator or a self-destructive asshole, like the idiots having “tangential tantrums” at the Nu-Isis Lodge in England where any kind of occult phenomena are sought after at all cost, where even the most sickening and harmful manifestations are considered a plus of “successful Magick”.

Those who want to develop themselves should look in their heart and find a self worth developing.  That worthy self is the Spirit Self and not the Social Self.  Those who cannot make this distinction in their heart are worthless fools who are either discarded by Power or destroyed by Power.  When destroyed by Power, like modern political leaders of black occultism, they are Cosmic Abortions of the Cosmic Mother.
