According to Nagual Juan Matus:

“In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link.  Warrior-shamans are concerned with discussing, understanding, and employing that connecting link.  They are especially concerned with cleaning it of the numbing effects brought about by the ordinary concerns of their everyday lives.  Shamanism at this level can be defined as the procedure of cleaning one’s connecting link to intent.”

The Lesson:

Do you actually have the Magical Initiative to clean-off and cancel “the numbing effects brought about by the ordinary concerns” of your everyday life?

When the numbness of ordinariness gets titillated about Power and the ways of Power, it wants to add some unusual ideas to itself, usually to socialize about it to attract other titillated, but magically numb others.

Intent exists for Itself, not to add something attractive or exciting to your numb and dumb repertoire of ordinary life-concerns.  It has to do with perhaps what we might call, Will-of-the-Spirit, but without the right kind of aspiration or Magical Initiative, such terms will remain another slogan for your usual spiritual self-bullshitting.

So, what really needs to happen to you, dear reader, is the “Descent of the Spirit” for the activation of Magical Initiative that will undertake the “cleaning of your actual link with intent.”

If you are not entirely numb and dumb with your ordinary concerns, activities, worries and personal or social dramas, you will somehow answer the Call of the Spirit in some strange new way that will prompt the Descent of the Spirit.  Then and only then will you learn this lesson.
